Today I visited Giant Reisterstown Rd, Baltimore, MD, and the young lady was very efficient, professional, friendly, and helpful. We need more people to work in customer service.
I stopped at my local Giant on my way home from work today and checked out at a self-service register. My debit card would not work, and a message came on the screen to contact my bank; however, the bank was not answering its phone. The woman at the customer service desk was so kind and patient with me. She held my order while I went across the street to get cash from an ATM. She really made me feel better by being kind and calm. Your customer service folks and all employees at the Giant on Glocker Way in Pottstown, PA are always helpful and friendly!!
Shopped at Quakertown, PA location and was very impressed with cashier Ian’s customer service skills and personality. He took care in bagging my items and even made sure my potatoes were fresh.
Ryan at Queen Street is always pleasant, courteous, and helpful. He’s an asset to this location and makes our shopping experience pleasant.
I visited the Giant Pharmacy on 33rd, and the cashiers were very rude. The cashier, Shamikal, was very rude. When I first came, all the cashiers were acting fake busy and took me to the manager in the back to say it was a customer, even though they could clearly see me standing right there! I asked the cashier, Shamikal, a question, and she was blowing her breath, saying thoughtful comments! You all need better associates who actually want to work and have a better attitude. Not to mention GIANTS DOUBLE CHARGED ME !!!!!!!
Giant store 2304 has really gone downhill in the 10 years I’ve been shopping there. The employee today, whom I hear was a “manager, looked so unprofessional with a wool beanie on her head and a hoodie and jeans on. Looks like she would be at our hanging with 16-year-olds. The front doors were not able to open for weeks. The shelves are consistently empty of the item(s) I want, or have expired food on them. Forces me to shop elsewhere every week. Just this week and last week, no yoghurt expired. There were also no whole-wheat tortillas that weren’t expired, and the 10-pack on the shelf expired 10/21/25. That isn’t very comfortable for your store.
The QR code on the register receipts at store #6566 does not connect to the survey or redirect to an alternative link.
So, there’s that
But I want to give a shout-out to Christina @ store 6566 for her kindness in general and for her extra consideration for her elderly customers who checked out through her line.
Giant is fortunate to have such a kind, empathetic and conscientious employee.
She gets five stars for the way she does her job!
Sincerely,
Suzanne.
Very supportive and helpful services, which I usually received from Dr Kevin T.Walsh and the whole crew. Thank you all.
Giant Pharmacy has always been cooperative and friendly! All of the personnel offer great support, especially Natalie, who makes sure I understand the prescription medication before I leave the store and explains it in easy-to-understand terms. Tiffany, Xa, and Amber also provide excellent assistance.
Christiana at store 6566 is a very kind and helpful cashier. I wish more people were as patient as she is.
I am very satisfied with the team at the Ellicott City store on Baltimore National Pike. Checkout staff Jeff, Dave, and Kathy, deli staff Will and Phil, and flower department staff Joanne consistently deliver attentive service with positivity and warmth, always designing beautiful arrangements. Jimmy regularly assists with shelf stocking. My husband and I look forward to seeing the friendly faces of the exceptional employees at Giant.
Pin #02211543070470130118. I want to commend Alfredo, who worked in the checkout line on Saturday, February 21, at the Giant in Reston. He was courteous and professional, and he cheerfully helped me with three heavy grocery bags and a large bag of kitty litter. Please recognise Alfredo for his outstanding service.
Store #6117 is not meeting customer service expectations. Today, I waited at the customer service counter for 4-5 minutes before receiving assistance. The employee monitoring self-checkout, who did not have a name tag, observed me several times before responding. When she approached, she said, “I can’t be at both places at the same time.” I have decided to shop at a competitor, despite the greater distance, due to their superior service and professionalism. I would like management to evaluate store #6117’s customer service and staff professionalism, provide feedback on the results, and implement specific measures to improve these areas, such as enhanced training or supervision, with a timeline for these actions.
My name is Michael Kennedy from Alexandria, PA. As a disabled veteran, I want to express my deep gratitude to Giant’s CEO. Store no. 6277 has always been my choice for cakes. This year, a caring staff member helped me select a birthday cake for my friend’s three-year-old daughter, creating the most beautiful cake I have ever seen. Her exceptional work surpassed my expectations, and I am thankful to her, the management, and Giant for their outstanding service.
I am very grateful to Giant Pharmacy for its excellent service. The pharmacists and staff are always helpful, and ordering on the phone is quick and convenient. Thank you, Giant!
I visited store #141 on 4/13/2026 at approximately 3:45pm to shop and had an unfortunate experience. An aggressive interaction occurred between a man and a female security guard, with loud and uncomfortable language exchanged. The altercation spilt into the outside entrance, and they were about 60-80 feet apart. I felt very uncomfortable. I saw another female guard arrive around 4:30pm, so it wasn’t her; it was the one who was already there. Thank you.
I wanted to fill in a survey for outstanding customer service managers, Leisha and Kensie, at store #6271 in Shrewsbury, PA. I kept getting an error saying the PIN was for an affiliate store (?) Anyway, I got distracted helping another customer at the self-checkout area and forgot to scan my Giant loyalty card. Leisha and Kensie were very helpful and professional, scanning my receipt and correcting items that should have been on sale and/or discounted with a digital coupon. I really appreciate the management and staff at this store. I had just spoken with David Shatzer, the general manager, about how very helpful the staff and customer service reps are at this store. 10 minutes later, they proved me right again. Please pass on my thoughts. Thank you, Ben B.
